Sometimes, the silence hurts more than we admit.
I’m the kind of person who takes time to read, react, and engage with other people’s posts. I support, appreciate, and celebrate others, even in small ways, because I know that sometimes, a simple reaction or comment can make someone feel seen and valued.
But sometimes, I can’t help but feel sad when I realize that the same energy is rarely given back to me. I’m not asking for everyone to like my posts or agree with everything I share. I just wish that the support I give could be reciprocated, even in the simplest way.
I know that nobody owes me anything, and I don’t want to force genuine engagement. But honestly, it hurts to feel like you’re always present for others, yet somehow invisible when it’s your turn to be seen.
Maybe this is a reminder to keep being kind, but also to learn where to invest my energy. ❤️🩹
