I'm not a good singer
but just a music feeler 😅
The song was originally supposed to be titled "Suicide"
but the band changed the title because their record label worried that the song would face heavy backlash, spark controversy, and cause radio stations or television outlets to refuse to play it.
To handle the label's request without losing the song's identity, the band made a clever play on words:
"Chop Suey!" represents the word "suicide" being "chopped in half"
Chopsuey is a stir-fried vegetable dish made with mixed vegetables, meats, and seafood coated in a thick, savory oyster and soy sauce, which is also a popular viand in our country for veggie lovers apart from Adobo, Bulalo, Sinigang, and Kare-kare mmmm yummmy 😁
This is a song that doesn't fit me well as it has a fast verse that gets your tongue-twisted, especially if you're not used to pronouncing words rapidly.
But good enough, it has only a few verses, which are just repeated😅
I like its catchy beat, especially the drums and the melodic chorus part of the song, so I just enjoyed it. Lezzzgggooowww just for fun rawr 😜😎🤘
