Air Travel from Mexico to USA as a UK Citizen?

Anyone have experience of doing this? I’ll be in Mexico for a month then hoping to go to the USA? Any travel restrictions or entry requirements I should know about besides the ESTA, onward ticket and valid passport? I’m just unsure as I’m coming from Mexico and not the UK.
