Picking a psu suitable for my build
Hi, 5 years ago I was gifted a pc with a Ryzen 5 4650G, and I've done everything on it since then, with no upgrades other than an m.2
Recently, I bought a GTX 1060 6GB for 20gbp ( very cheap !) since I'd like to run Assetto Corsa a little better, and explore some single player games. Please do not recommend I upgrade other components, I understand they are very outdated but I believe they are fine for my use case.
I just wanted some assistance in choosing the right PSU since this 1060 will not work with the random no name psu in my computer right now. My brother suggests I ONLY go for an 80+ gold psu but it seems overkill for something as light as the 1060. Any suggestions that would be at a lower price are appreciated.
I was thinking a 450W/500W 80+ bronze ? I also want to make sure I'm right in thinking I shouldn't really ever go with a used PSU ?
