Jenny the Witch - Catbird Soft - Sci-fi hack & slash where you fight a horde of robots in the sewers below New York City. Launching this Wednesday!
Hi! I'm Ben from Catbird Soft, and this is Jenny the Witch. Like I said in the title, we're launching **this Wednesday, July 22**.
## The game
Jenny the Witch is a hybrid third-person shooter / hack & slash with spectacle fighter elements. That's a lot of genre words to say:
* You shoot things! You've got a palm blaster and a set of homing missiles. * You smack things! Jenny's rocket-powered broom is designed for smashing robots to bits. * You have super moves! and airdashes! and lots of other cool tricks!
Put all together, it plays a bit like a hybrid of Gungrave and DMC. You'll move fast and try to keep enemies under control with a mix of ranged damage and devastating melee combos.
## The mission
Four maintenance workers have gone missing in the Brooklyn Understructure, a sprawling network of sewers, waste management facilities, and power infrastructure deep below New York City. Mech-suited mercenary Genevieve Marconi (aka Jenny the Witch) has been hired to find out what happened to them. Where have they gone? Why are there packs of combat-grade drones roaming the halls of the Understructure? And who's watching her on those security cameras?
