Good Morning Everyone 🙋🏻♀️
Today is the Second Sunday in Lent — a season of reflection, repentance, and drawing closer to God.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”
— Psalm 27:1
Heavenly Father,
You are the God of mercy, compassion, and peace.
Today we lift up the people of the Middle East to You —
families living in fear, children hearing the sound of missiles,
mothers and fathers unsure of tomorrow.
Lord, during this sacred season of Lent
and during Ramadan for our Muslim brothers and sisters,
soften hearts that have hardened.
Protect the innocent.
Restrain violence.
Turn leaders toward wisdom instead of destruction.
Comfort those who mourn.
Shield those in danger.
Strengthen peacemakers.
And let Your light shine into places filled with smoke and sorrow.
Prince of Peace,
teach humanity that hatred will never heal what only love can.
Amen.
🙏🏼 Lord, make us instruments of Your peace.

Thank you so much for asking. They're safe, thankfully. UAE has been intercepting most of the missiles, apparently Dubai airport sustained damage. Being so close to everything happening has left them feeling understandably overwhelmed and anxious. We're just grateful they're ok. 🙏
