Shot in the dark
My sister told me about this comic she read a while back, it was about a teen girl with platinum (silver blonde) hair and she had a familiar pet. There was a backstory scene with an old dude and this other dude (one was the familiar pet) and one of them sacrificed themeselves when fighting a greater danger (she says he threw himself towards the attack that killed him) I know this is hardly much but maybe there’s someone who knows what comic (or webtoon?) this could be from. She also says it’s not like dc comics where everyone is incredibly detailed, but not super cartoon like (maybe like venture bros art style?)
