I never feel like I am capable of learning anything because every tutorial I watch has tools that give different results than mine.
I use CSP. When I watch tutorials, they will say things like "let's just use a soft round brush for shading" and none of my brushes do what theirs do! Then I spend an hour looking for a similar brush and get frustrated when I can't find it then quit. I've gone thru this cycle for years, I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
I know a bad craftsman blames his tools but what I make is never alike the tutorials and I constantly feel like the programs working against me. Has anyone experienced this?
