Going to Guatemala in may need destination/activity recommendations
As title said, me and my wife are planning a 2 weeks trip in Guatemala in may.
I searched online and stumbled upon obvious desinations. Tikal, atitlan, antigua, flores.
I definitely plan on going to some of these (especially tikal/flores) but I am affraid places like Atitlan might feel underwhelming by being too touristy?
As for activities I am really interested in history, some sight seeing and just relaxing in general. My wife is not a big fan of hikes, so difficilt hikes suck as fuego might not be enjoyable.
