I spent two months in China cycling 2,000 kilometers through the inner country. Feel free to ask me any of your China related questions!
I visited Beijing, Datong, Luoyang, Xi’an, Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou valley, Taihang Grand Canyon, Chongqing, Zhangjiajie, Guilin, and Guangzhou, and much more.
I cycled from Datong to Luoyang so saw quite a bit of scenery between them and enjoyed a lot of rural Chinese life. And I cycled from Zhangjiajie to Guangzhou, although I got detained mid way through for cycling in a military zone and was forced to take a train around a rather large restricted zone.

Overall, I had an incredible experience in China and I strongly recommend it.
