WTA 1000 Rome R2: Plíšková def. Cristian, 6-7 7-6 6-4
3 match points saved by Karo in the second set. At break point #2 down 6-5, a shout during the point caused Cristian to dump a ball into the net, followed by an error prone tiebreak that gave Plíšková the set. Third set had plenty of breaks and a racquet throw from Jaqi, but Karo got it done on MP #3 . She’ll take on Laura Siegemund next!
