YSK If you are returning a purchase from Free People, Urban Outfitters and/or Anthropologie, due to poor quality, you do not need to return it in order for them to refund you. Keep the defective product and fix it yourself. If you send it back, they fix it and sell it as “new”.
Why YSK: Given the cheap quality of their products, it’s not surprising that their return policies are almost too easy. It’s not because URBN (the parent company) cares about providing good customer service. It’s because they get to look like they do, while losing nothing. It’s overpriced landfill in the end, and you do have rights as a consumer.
Better yet— Learn to thrift, and you won’t need to spend 10x as much just to look like you’re good at thrifting.
