Tried my hand at a cloche terrarium over the weekend
I came into a box of these cloche domes for cheap at an auction so I bought them because “I’ll craft that some day” lol. Let me tell you I had so much fun doing this, I love the 3D scrapbook kind of feeling it gives to create. Everything inside was collected in true culture culture style. My original intention was to use preserved butterflies as the centerpiece but for some reason the bones and squirrels called to me and it morphed into a different vision when I started. I personally am so pleased with it and think it’s awesome, but curious of others opinions. If you like oddities would you buy this from Etsy or a craft fair? Just curious. I may take the ribbon off the styrofoam insert and do more moss, not sure yet. Plan to do butterflies next weekend so I’ll post those results as well.
