Planning a Road Trip Through Central Texas
I live south of Houston (Laporte/Kemah area). One of my favorite bands is touring through Texas this spring so my fiancé and I are following them. We will be driving from Houston to San Antonio to catch the first show, then to Austin, back to Houston and then on to Dallas for the final show. Are there any cool stops or towns anyone would suggest along that route? We were thinking about maybe stopping through New Braunfels or Gruene on our way to Austin. Down for anything; scenic routes and state parks, small towns, BBQ, breweries, antiquing, historical landmarks. Just hoping to do something new!
