Books thematically similar to Watchmen/DC: The New Frontier?
Pleaseee don't fill the replies with "Watchmen is so much better! Watchmen has so much more depth! Why are you comparing them!" I agree with this, but I think they have many things in common. They both function as metatextual critiques of America through comic books. While watchmen has a much bigger focus on subversion, The New Frontier does this as well. I'm curious which books share similar themes to this? I'm a big sucker for subversion or anything meta. Let me know your guys' picks.
