If I had the power to solve one major problem in the world, it would be the lack of empathy and understanding between people.
Why? Because so many of the world’s biggest issues—war, poverty, injustice, abuse, discrimination—grow from the same root: people failing (or refusing) to see others as fully human. If empathy were stronger : Leaders would think twice before choosing violence. Systems would protect the vulnerable, not exploit them. Disagreements would lead to dialogue, not destruction. Differences would be met with curiosity, not fear. Empathy doesn’t erase conflict—but it changes how we face it. And when understanding leads, solutions follow.
