Oh, you wonβt believe it! here in Saint Nazaire I ran into a good high school friend. I remembered she used to live in Angers, but we hadnβt spoken in years. I checked if I still had her numberβ¦ and there it was, she replied immediately, so happy to hear from me.
When I told her I was on vacation just an hour away, she said we should definitely meet.And yesterday we did. We spent the whole afternoon together, so many memories, so many stories, as if no time had passed at all. We started talking about our age and how weβve begun forgetting things, losing little pieces here and there. It was nice to realize she was facing the same little struggles as me.
Maybe thatβs why I dreamed that I was supposed to meet her for coffeeβ¦ but I kept forgetting everything: first I forget the car keys. then I go out and forget where I parked. I finally find the car, but I forget where I was supposed to meet her. I try to call her, but of course Iβd forgotten my phone. I was so upset I was so frustrated I almost cried. Thank goodness it was just a dream. πβ€οΈ
