# #Rainbow Cloud
I just saw this video from 3 months ago in Utah of a rainbow cloud in a clear blue sky. He’s not alone as you can hear other spectators wowed by the optical effect. Here’s a link to a guy’s amateur video capture:

He says it’s a conspiracy theory called HAARP which I’d never heard of so I looked into that which is the whole idea of the government controlling the weather. However, after reading about that, nothing like his video of the clearly visible rainbow cloud is ever mentioned. Conspiracy theorists do believe that HAARP was the cause of the event when Aurora borealis was seen in places all over that it wasn’t supposed to appear - events that deal more with the ionosphere (& also mind control).
His rainbow cloud is clearly much lower which more closely jives with the NOAA link:

A rainbow cloud can occur because of something called cloud iridescence. It usually happens in altocumulus, cirrocumulus, lenticular and cirrus clouds. Iridescent clouds happen because of diffraction – a phenomenon that occurs when small water droplets or small ice crystals scatter the sun's light.
It’s very rare actually. What I find interesting in this guy’s video of it is that it does appear totally stationary in a clear blue sky. Like if it were a cloud, you’d expect SOME change/movement/morphing.
I just looked at examples of the NOAA phenomenon which is what’s most likely if we accept reality based on our current perception anyway & interestingly, none looked near as close up or low to the ground nor as solid as the one in his video. They look much more like what NOAA described as far as mostly cirrus clouds - like mostly wispy clouds that are often just forming. This thing in his video is solid. It’s easy to run with his ideas that maybe it’s shrouding something.
I knew none of the above. However, I just started watching a YT channel called The Why Files about things like simulations (if we are living in base reality) & all kinds of other actually believable theories. Some are outlandish but some could make a naysayer question reality for sure. It’s caused a bit of cognitive dissonance in me when I question what I know as reality because it takes away what’s “safe” like all that we’ve been taught over a lifetime. It leaves me with an uneasy feeling.
