Is there a 3d printing technique strong enough for climbing holds? I saw these climbing holds for sale on etsy. And after looking closer I realized they were 3D printed. Don't get me wrong, I know printers these days make great products... But climbing holds need to be really strong ? I messaged the seller and he said he just switched from polyurethane to polyethylene. But based on the photos it looks like it's still FDM printing. So I guess I'm asking is it safe to print climbing holds? What filament or settings should I use? Ps, this would not be for kids. I weigh over 250 lbs. So it kinda needs to be strong. #3d #technology #3dprinting | earnings |
