In this lesson, I learned that Apfel is apple and Lärm means noise. An exercise is called Übung, while a desert is Wüste. For places and things, Straße is street, Kuss is kiss, and Wasser means water. The adjective groß describes something big or tall. For the verbs, we have mögen (to like), öffnen (to open), and heißen (to be called).
