Where to find odd sized router bushings for dovetail jig?
Hi all,
Hoping its okay to ask this here. I recently bought a Porter Cable Omni jig for fairly cheap off FB market place and I'm trying to make this work. There are a couple parts that the seller lost over the years, he was upfront about this but I didn't think it would be so hard to find them. The first was the dovetail setup sheet, the front of this was in the manual and I actually found the back of this sheet in an 18 year old youtube video (screenshot attached). Had I not found this, the whole thing would have been useless.
The other missing part is the router bushings. I thought this would be easy as router bushings are readily available but it turns out you need some really odd sizes. This is shown in the right table of the image. Porter cable no longer makes this set or sells parts for this jig.
Does anyone know where I can find these odd sizes? No commonly available router bushing set seems to sell them in these sizes. The only common size on that chart is the 5/8" and 3/8" bushings, which I have. Things like the 39/64" OD bushing and the 9/16" OD bushing is not a standard size but required to make thru dovetails. I probably don't need every size in that chart but I would get them all if I could find it. Any help in finding a bushing set like this is much appreciated!
