Hello Tangled family! Our January #Homestead challenge has really brought me a few surprises and I gotta be honest! I'm really loving all the unique ideas you guys are sharing! Below is a list of Challengers so far, What their Art looks like, interesting thoughts about the different art scenes, as well as what we are hoping to see more of in the future!

My initial response to this homestead was honestly relief! I wasn't sure if I was even going to get any participants for my challenge after being on hiatus for so long, I wasn't sure if I was offering enough in rewards, and I couldn't tell if people would find value in spending their time for what could be consider a slim chance for an NFT sponsorship.
When I came back onto tangled for my morning break I was very thankful that Clert had decided to put themselves out there and gave the challenge a try! I knew at the very least I would be able to award one person for participating and if I was lucky given enough time there would be a handful of other participants in the days to come!
Thankfully I was not disappointed! We are now 4 days into the challenge that officially ends 01/25/25 at 5pm est. and there have been several other challengers. I will share some of the different styles and my comments on them as well as what the users shared as prompt details.
Okay now you tell me if these next generated images give you the same vibes as they gave me. Does anyone remember a particular family of ageless individuals who lived in the fictional forest of Forks Washington? These next two entries really brought me back to their gorgeous glass mansion, tell me what you think?

When I first looked at these I was really surprised and felt like i was being brought back to my teenage days it was a bit thrilling I'm not gonna lie. The first image is from the tangled user
If I hadn't been sure before if the challenge idea was a good one or not this definitely filled me with a greater sense of confidence! in the prompt that Sylvie shared it seemed they were aiming for a minimalistic look with an emphasis on glowing windows. I'm not gonna split hairs with you here I see nothing minimalistic about this over the top winter palace that looks large enough to house a extensive vampire coven, important members of the local werewolf pack, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a coven of witches hiding away in there.
Don't get me wrong I'm not criticizing this beautiful homestead I Just think its very funny how grandiose this place looks. An if I say so myself, living out in the woods during the high of winter it seems pretty important to have enough space so you are not living on top of everyone else in the house, and these locations especially look like you could have an entire wing to yourself without having to worry about seeing someone for a few days haha.
the homestead the Pieces Dragon has offered up gives me a feeling almost akin to a small private resort. Maybe somewhere a very select group of people know about and have been going to for generations. It makes me think of the bath experience in Spirited Away making me very much want to give it a try.
I appreciated the thoughtfulness in Pieces Dragon post as they shared part of their Filipino heritage with us on tangled.
This was definitely my first time explicitly hearing about the Filipino traditional house called BAHAY KUBO. Being on tangled is a great way to be exposed to all types of different walks of life and I'm thankful for the community we are building here everyday.

Yeah I'm deciding which book I want to start on first and share things slowly over the next 3 - 6 months. This information can be overwhelming for people and I don't want people to have mental breakdowns without a way to get themselves back on track lol.
