Incra 1000SE

I need to make miter cuts that are 46”+.
I know the 1000SE only goes to 31” and that there are extra rails I can buy to extend. I’ll be using a dewalt 10” job site saw. I was thinking of buying the miter express. Is there another option or idea I should look at?

Also thought about buying the 1000SE and then just a longer rail from someone else for the time being.

46 Inches on a jobsite Dewalt is a long reach for the 1000SE, and you are right that 31 is the stock ceiling. Miter Express is worth a look if you want the workpiece carried the whole cut instead of hanging off a short fence. A longer rail from someone else can hold you over, as long as the stop still clamps square that far past the blade. I would also price a simple crosscut sled with a long fence before spending, in case the Incra stops are not the part you actually need on this job. Are these miters for one project, or is long stock going to keep showing up?
