✈️ A technical issue at the UK air-traffic-control provider NATS disrupted departing flights on Tuesday, leading to nearly 300 cancellations, according to flight-monitoring service Flightradar24. NATS later said it had implemented a fix and its flight system was beginning to recover.
The disruption affected major airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Stansted and London City. Heathrow said arrivals were continuing, though Eurocontrol said some inbound flights were being held at airports abroad.
British Airways, EasyJet, KLM and Lufthansa were among airlines with affected flights. EasyJet said some services could not operate and that delays extended across Europe. 🛫
