Harvey vs Grizzly vs Laguna
So I’m buying a new bandsaw. I have a Grizzly G0555x which has served me well for 7 years. But I need more height and capacity.
I’m a turner, so lots of ripping logs or blanks round, and I also make boxes so resaw is key as well.
My budget is roughly $3000 and yes I’ve looked at the used market, but I’m keen to buying new.
Looking at the Grizzly line (my Tablesaw is a Grizzly G0899), the Laguna (I have the Laguna Revo 15/24 lathe) and the Harvey line.
I can see pluses and minuses for all - would love to hear from peeps as to their experience and preferences. I lean Grizzly but I’m loving the offering from Harvey and Laguna.
I haven’t specifically listed models as I don’t want to limit my thinking (yet).
