I have absolutely no knowledge of wood staining. Techniques, products, what's doable.
I'd like to darken the sapele reading light surround to match a walnut switch that will sit bellow it. I don't want it to pass for walnut, just to be a dark enough colour to match.
Can anyone recommend any good videos on how to stain wood? Bonus points if anyone in the UK can suggest products to use.
