Please save me from tent paralysis.
Want to move away from car camping and start backpacking with my wife and toddler. Looking for a roomy 3p tent with pack size being more important to me than weight. Whoever isn’t carrying the kid is going to be carrying pretty much everything else, so I’m scared about pack space.
Currently looking at the Stormbreak 3 and salt creek sl3 due to price mainly (did I mention the toddler??) and what seems to be better weight and packed size than others in this lower mid class of tents.
Any input or advice would be awesome from my more experienced backpackers :)
Info: Northern California, not going to be doing any extreme conditions and only 1-2 nights.
