Once, a classmate told me they had traveled to Dubai during summer vacation and even visited the Burj Khalifa. They described it in a lot of detail shopping malls, desert safari, everything.
But I didn’t fully believe it at first because they never shared any photos or souvenirs, and they usually don’t talk about traveling at all. It just felt a bit surprising coming from them.
Later, though, they showed a few pictures on their phone and even some flight tickets. That’s when I realized the story was actually true, and I had just judged too quickly based on assumptions.
