How to deal with questions that puts you in an awkward position?
Today at work these two coworkers (male and female) were messing with each other like making jokes and dissing each other’s looks. I then got dragged into the conversation by the female coworker and was asked if I think the male coworker is cute. I felt so much awkwardness because I personally (in my head) did not find him attractive but I also did not want to hurt his feelings by outright saying no. I responded with a giggle and was like “what?”. I avoided answering the question by acting distracted by something at work. Sometimes, in other scenarios I get asked those “who is better” or “who is right” kinda questions and I just hate being put on the spot like that. How to deal with these situations because I hate how I feel like I am hurting the person’s feelings if I answer. I know it happens to everyone in these situations but for me it’s so awkward!
