This bumblebee napped so long the flower closed up around him
I'm in zone 7B (east coast USA) and have noticed bumblebees taking hourslong naps (I hope??) on lots of flowers in our garden as the temps are definitely getting cooler and days shorter. This is the second bumblebee I've found tucked into a luffa flower in the morning. I imagine it must feel like falling asleep on a bus and waking up with no idea where you are!
