Strollers and Europe
I was recently in Croatia and noticed parents in Dubrovnik struggling with their strollers. Don't do this.
If you are traveling in Italy, Croatia, Portugal (anywhere with old infrastructure and stairs) with small children, get yourself a backpack child carrier instead. Trying to navigate hundreds of steps with a bulky stroller is madness.
Another tip, wherever you do bring a stroller anywhere : bring (or buy on arrival) a $30 umbrella style stroller instead of your nice baby registry stroller. It's lighter weight and won't stress you out when it gets squished after gate checking it.
