Is there a problem with this?
I'm having some insulation added to the attic space above a first floor bedroom that had an a-line roof above it. To access it, they cut into the upstairs wall of a room that is adjacent to the attic space. I'm just wondering about that 2 x 4 that they cut out.
Sorry if I'm not describing this well. Amy thoughts?
