Can I plane this smooth, or is it doomed to be warped?
My wife has this tortilla press, which is very uneven due to the grain of the wood. It's years old now, so (hopefully) it has reached it's final shape.
Can I disassemble this, run it through a planer, and expect it to be somewhat flat thereafter? Or will it just re-warp, and thus it would be a pointless endeavor?
