Even though I (19m) have successfully done \~6 months of no masturbation, I've been struggling all the while with still compulsively watching porn, with being unproductive in general, and most of all, with feeling like I don't really want to stop very much.
Now because I already do nothing all day, I tell myself it's no big deal that I waste all my hours watching porn because it's not like I'd be doing anything more productive if I wasn't watching it.
And this leads me to my dilemma, because I know I can stop just like I've stopped masturbation, I just choose not to out of sheer laziness and boredom. So how can I make myself in my heart truly want to be productive? I fantasize about having a life, but actually making me get up and do it never happens.
I know further disciplining my libido will help with the cornography issue, but beyond that, I keep having this nagging voice in the back of my head telling me that the larger goal of pursuing "life" isn't worth it because of how bad it is overall.
But I know I could help change it, so why don't I get out there and do that? I guess I want someone to just put me on a path, because all the options are overwhelming (but obviously this isn't possible) #inspiration source
