Feeling bad for wasting time during my trip staying in hotel room to escape the heat.
I recently travelled to Berlin and Warsaw, and I do want to say that they are amazing cities and had a wonderful time seeing cool stuff there. However, this trip was very recent, and as you guys know, it was very hot. So I had to stay in my hotel room half of my days to cool down and sleeping. If I were to stay outside and walk all day, I would’ve gotten heat exhaustion. What sucks was that I didn’t get to see a lot of the stuff in those cities because it was just staying in my hotel room. I did wake up early and venturing out around AM, and saw sights before it got busy, but it was kinda humid and it started to get miserable around 10AM. I missed the magic of seeing the cities at night time. I’ve thought to my self if I went to Germany and Poland around winter or spring time, then I would’ve gone out more since it won’t be too hot around those time. Hell, I even skipped dinner just so I didn’t have to be outside. Would it be wrong to feel guilty I stayed half of the days in my trip cooling down in the hotel room instead of going out all day, even in the heat? #travel source
