The initial day of the year has commenced, and I arose later than anticipated, having devoted a substantial amount of time to washing dishes from Media Noche the previous evening. It is imperative that I initiate the day with a clear sense of direction. Following a thorough cleaning of the house and participation in my TikTok dance, my sister and her children paid us a surprise visit at 7 pm to celebrate the New Year, as we were unable to do so on New Year's Eve due to my husband's and son's exhaustion after work. I remember this moment as being somewhat awkward, as it was an unexpected visit, and we had all finished dinner by the time they arrived. At the time of their visit, our home was in a state of disarray, as I had yet to complete most of my household chores. Apart from that, our first day is awesome since we were able to be together on the first day of the year at home.
