Had an interesting night last night....
Went to a wedding. The parents of the Bride are friends of my friends. I know the parents but not well. I never met the bride (daughter) or groom before.
We had steamed fish heads for the meal. A little strange even in a land of strange foods (subscribe to
After the Bride greeted us at our table I leaned in and whispered, "is the Bride with child?" Everyone scowled and said, "No she is just chunky." But then a relative, one whom I did not know was a relative, leaned in and whispered, "Three months."
Everyone was amazed that I could tell at such an early stage and everyone was amazed I had the courage to say something. Of course it earned an under the table whack from Awn, my wife. Then another relative visited our table and told us it is twin girls. I am so excited for the couple. Before even attending the wedding or ever meeting the Bride and Groom I prepared an envelope with a cash gift... On the envelope I wrote "ขอให้มีความสุขสุขภาพแข็งแรงและมีลูกเยอะๆ - จอร์จและอร" Post in the comments what I wrote on the envelope. I will tip each comment for the next 48 hours. Then tell me if I am a prophet or not.
