Roadtrip Lisbon to Copenhagen
Hi everyone!
I wanted to ask for a few questions regarding a dream trip me and my three friends want to do.
For context, we are 4 portuguese musicians living in Copenhagen, and we thought about bringing my Mini One D (I know it is a SUPER SMALL car for the 4 of us!!) to Denmark so we can do a roadtrip at the end of the summer. We imagine it as carrying out tents/sleeping bags and sleep where it is possible more than properly finding a place to sleep.
Our idea would be to split the trip into driving days and visiting days, and it would be something like this:
1st day - Lisbon to Barcelona (\~12h)
2nd day - Spend the day in Barcelona
3rd day - Barcelona to Genoa (\~8h30)
4th day - Spend the day in Genoa
5th day - Genoa to Como (\~3h)
6th day - Spend the day in Como
7th day - Como to Prague (\~9h)
8th day - Spend the day in Prague
9th day - Prague to Copenhagen (\~11h w ferry)
Of course a driving day like the 5th could be incorporated into the end of the 4th or remove the 6th. We also want to avoid going through Paris, Belgium, Netherlands, as they are cities/contries that we are very familiar with.
My questions were:
\- What do you think about the destinations? Would you suggest anything different?
\- Any suggestions regarding another feasible option on the transport? We understand that the car is very unconfortable for something like this, but from the research that we did, there are not a lot of caravan options that would allow us to leave it in a place that distant from the origin. Do you know any solution?
\- What should we avoid in this specific roadtrip? We also found the vignettes from switzerland or czechia to be expensive, so is there any way to avoid them?
\- Is there any concern that we should have that we are not having?
