My son (12yo) ask a question that I didn't know the answer to. He asked if the science behind animal rearing was solid in the early 1900s why we stopped doing those things. I did say that some of it was because we had better science, but also there is an aesthetic element (social media) now that didn't exist before. He wanted to know if any farmers still used old texts and what they were so he can look through them and learn from other famers.
So if you still use/find value in old farming books, what are they?
