Third-year design student with a free summer, looking for advice and maybe some people to collaborate with
Didn't land an internship this summer and trying to make the most of it. Would love some advice from people who've been in a similar spot.
Things I'm curious about: certifications that were actually worth your time, personal projects that made a real difference in your portfolio, or just anything you wish you'd done differently with a free summer as a student.
I'm into brand identity, visual systems, and UI/UX and work in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects. If anyone's working on something and wants an extra hand or a collaborator, I'm genuinely open to it. Just looking to keep growing and have real work to show for it by the end of the summer.
