Pizza doesn’t taste best hot or cold. It tastes best 1 hour after it comes out of the oven.
When the pizza is too hot, the cheese and toppings just slide off and it’s a mess. Pizza tastes better cold, but straight out of the fridge is usually dry or also sometimes has damp spots, and then reheating methods cause a whole other debate. 1 hour after the pizza is served it is not cold yet, maybe room temperature, all cheese and toppings stay in place and there is no dryness in the dough yet. The most pleasant stage of pizza.
