What lies beneath my kitchen floor? Asbestos?
My house was built in the 1920s. Someone put hideous vinyl sheet flooring in the kitchen that I’m dying to tear up. It looks like there are two additional layers underneath, the first of which may be a more attractive looking tile. Then there are some better looking but still ugly pink tiles. The hardwood? Does any of this look like asbestos to anyone? How can I go about getting this tested to see if I can DIY this project?
