SLPT: If you said something bigoted more than 5 years ago, you can get out of apologizing by stating it was more than 5 years ago.
Because people *can* change in that amount of time, people are *obligated* to take your word that you've changed at face value, without having to prove that you actually have!
If they're still so entitled as to ask you to apologize for doing something bad, then you get to complain about being "cancelled!"
