In my society, one very common superstition is that if a black cat crosses your path, it brings bad luck. Many people stop for a while or change their direction because of this belief.
I personally do not agree with this idea. I think it is just a coincidence and has no real meaning. A cat is just an animal and it cannot control our luck or future. Our success and failure depend on our efforts and Allah’s will, not on such small things.
Believing in these superstitions can create unnecessary fear in people’s minds. It also stops us from thinking logically. In today’s modern world, we should rely on facts and faith instead of old myths.
So, I believe we should avoid such superstitions and trust Allah and ourselves.
