Taking time off work to travel
Hi friends! Looking for guidance on a trip I'm considering in mid October thru November. Destination is La Paz, Mexico to help a friend with his farm for a few weeks.
I'm thinking of doing a loop, taking the northern route there and the southern route back or vice versa. Will be doing this is my truck. I would also like to find some people to travel with, especially in Mexico because I have never solo traveled outside of the US.
Questions I have:
Anyone take the ferries in Mexico?
Things or areas to see / avoid along the way?
Should I get a roof top tent or slide in truck camper?
How to find travel buddies?
Safety of the less populated parts of Mexico?
Any other tips or comments are appreciated, thanks for reading!
