There are such things as stupid questions in class
Back in school teachers would encourage asking questions by saying there's no such things as stupid questions or no questions are stupid but there definitely is.
If someone asks a question completely unrelated or off topic in the context of the situation its a stupid question.
If someone asks a question the teacher literally just explained its a stupid question because they weren't paying attention
Some students also take this as a challenge to intentionally try to come up with stupid questions which end up being stupid questions.
