Should I upgrade now or wait?
My current system is over 4 years old and is showing its age with games lately. I play any AAA game that comes along (just single player stuff), and want to be able to handle 4K, 120hz. I was ready to pull the trigger and build something new. I've been boring my wife to death talking about what components I'm considering, and the other day she came home from work and surprised me with a new RTX 4090! I plugged it into my old system, and the difference is night and day. My question is do I bother with the full upgrade now or wait for another generation? Here's my current setup:
CPU: Core i9 9900KF
RAM: 32GB DDR4 (3600)
MB: Asus ROG Maximus XI Hero (Intel Z390)
HD: Western Digital Black SN850X 2TB
