Why does winter come later and last longer in Japan?
I've noticed since moving to Japan winter always comes much later than my native england but also lasts much longer too. November and December are still quite nice in my city in western Japan, it gives me a false sense of security like (maybe this winter isn't gonna be so bad.) and then from Janurary to early-mid May it's absolutely freezing...
