18F Trying to find her first job w/ no luck
I'm going into my first semester at community College and I have never had a job. I've babysat for family and family friends but nothing that was a big commitment. My aids pay for all my college and Im able to live on my own with a roommate with it. But, Im trying to find a job (like literally anything) and never hear anything back. Ive asked Chatgpt to help me with making a resume with the little experience I have to put down into one. It sounds nice in my opinion but I have no clue to what people are really looking for.
What advice would you give me?
I have 150 hours of volunteer work from high school along side awards and honors clubs. But finding a fast food job seems impossible and Im a very upfront and hard worker.
Ive been going off of indeed; should I start going in person? Or is that an outdated tactic that my parents have recommended?
