Jupiter captured from Bortle 6 in South Africa This was captured with my Sky-Watcher Flextube 250P Dobsonian and processed using AutoStakkert and RegiStax. Still learning planetary processing, but I’m pretty happy with the amount of detail that came out. **Equipment** * Telescope: Sky-Watcher Flextube 250P (10” Dobsonian) * Camera: ZWO ASI678MC * Capture software: SharpCap * Mount: Manual Dobsonian tracking **Capture Settings** * Exposure: 5 ms * Gain: 70 * Frames captured: 1000 * ROI: 3840 × 2160 **Stacking (AutoStakkert!)** * Image stabilization: Planet * Quality estimator: Gradient * Alignment point size: 56 * Noise robust: 4 * Minimum brightness: 30 * Normalize stack: 75 * Drizzle: Off * Stack percentage: 10% **Post Processing (RegiStax)** * Increased contrast and decreased brightness * Wavelet sharpening using layers 1–4 with light denoise to avoid grain Would appreciate tips on how tips on how to improve. Thanks! #space source
